Robert’s guiding roots

Mount Kenya remains at the heart of the adventure

Robert has spent 20 years guiding people through Mount Kenya’s changing landscapes. His approach is personal, steady and grounded in close observation of the group and mountain conditions.

Pole pole — slowly, slowly — is more than a phrase. It is the pace that helps guests acclimatise, conserve energy and enjoy the journey as well as the summit.

SirimonOpen scenery and a rewarding northern route.
ChogoriaValleys, lakes and dramatic landscapes.

Wild Kenya

Safaris shaped around more than a checklist

A great safari is not simply about rushing from one sighting to another. It is about understanding the landscape, allowing time for wildlife to appear and experiencing the character of each place.

Jumbo Rocks Adventures offers short Nairobi experiences, three-day safaris and longer journeys connecting the Maasai Mara, Samburu, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Ol Pejeta.

Robert will help you select an itinerary based on your time, group size and the mix of wildlife, landscape and travel you want to experience.
